National Novel Writing Month (NaNoWriMo) began in 1999 as a daunting but straightforward challenge: to write 50,000 words of a novel during the thirty days of November. Now, each year on November 1, hundreds of thousands of people around the world begin to write, determined to end the month with 50,000 words of a brand-new novel.
This year, I’m committed to working on the final book in my Glass Dolphin Mystery series and while I have a super busy November, this is just the push I need to get serious!
I will be leading a NaNoWriMo session at the Angus Public Library on Saturday, November 16 from 2 to 4 p.m. Free admission, sign up or find out more by contacting the Library.
This is a good motivator, Judy. I wish you lots of perseverance and fun. 🙂
Thanks Carol!
Haven’t joined NaNoWriMo in years, but I am going to try one more time to put a children’s family mystery together from memory of all my notes and pages. All my best as you and your Canadians work together this month!
Good luck Beth!
