There’s been a lot of behind the scenes work, and it’s still a work-in-progress, but the Marketville Buecher website is now live. This German language website was made possible by my wonderful German translator, Petra Schmelzeisen, and her techie husband, Alfred.

Here’s what you’ll find (in German, of course), with content supplied by myself and Petra: expanded bios, blog posts, recipes, gardening tips (you have to know those will be from Petra!), photographs, and of course, book news. If you know someone who might be interested in signing up for updates (link at the bottom of the home page), please share the link, and thank you. And if you’re really curious, and don’t read German, you can use your browser’s Translate to English option.

Currently Skeletons in the Attic (Skelette auf dem Dachboden) and Past & Present (Vergangenheit und Gegenwart) have been translated into German and are available in print and paperback versions globally. In addition to Petra’s quality translation, the books have been painstakingly proofread by Mary Persch and beta-read by Uta Lambrich. Their belief in me, and my books, is humbling.

It will take time to build a German following, we know that. But just like our new website, it will develop. Slow and steady always wins the race.
