Thursday, May 26, 2022 marked the end of my five years serving as a volunteer on the Crime Writers of Canada Board of Directors, the last two as Chair. It was an honour and a privilege to be part of such a fine organization, and despite the challenges of Covid, our membership grew to the highest number on record. I could not be more proud of the added member benefits and changes made during my tenure, not the least of which is diversification in our regions, awards judges, and board members. We also introduced educational webinars and meet-and-greets with some of our better known authors. I encourage you to check out www.crimewriterscanada.com for more information.
As much as I loved my time on the Board, it was also time to move on to whatever new adventures await me, and so while I will remain a member, it will be as an author watching from the sidelines. That said, I’m grateful to everyone I have met through my association with CWC, and the many lessons I have learned. Here’s looking at you, CWC! Thanks for the opportunity to serve.
You have accomplished great things during your term, Judy. Thank you.
Thank you, Carolanne!
Best wishes for new adventures. Congratulations!
Thank you!
Congratulations, Judy. I hope the board knows how lucky they were to have you!
Thank you Ellen!
