By the time you read this, I should be firmly ensconced on the bench my husband, Mike, bought for me at a yard sale this spring. But this isn’t any ordinary bench. You see, he has it positioned perfectly on our waterfront deck to take in the northwesterly view of the sun setting on Lake Superior. And so, I’ll be taking a much-needed hiatus from this blog, returning in August, rejuvenated and refreshed—and hopefully, with half (or more) of the final book in the Glass Dolphin mysteries written (at least in messy, first draft form)…and if that isn’t working out, I’ll change gears and start something else. There’s something magical about that lake…
Until August!
Wishing you a wonderful and relaxing vacation!
Happy Writing! See you later.
What a gorgeous view. Have a great break!! xoxoxo
Enjoy your break! And good luck on your writing that next novel.
Let Lake Superior work it’s magic! A beautiful spot for a bench. I lived on the shores of Lake Superior from ’85 to 2010, loved walking the beaches, watching storms come up the lake, and seeing the sunsets. Enjoy your time.
Thanks Rose
Sounds wondeful, Judy! Murphy designed my office with a huge window overlooking the river so I can write and day dream. In the evening, we sit on our screened in porch overlooking the river and love the nigthtime breeze.
We are a lot warmer living down south than you up in Canada.
Can’t wait to read your final novel! Enjoy–
Water has magical powers, Sheri!
