Thank you, Judy, for featuring us on your blog. It looks great!
Tycoon, gangster, movie star — this sounds like a trifecta of fun.
And they remain married, Ann!
You know, Ann, researching Hollywood 1950s has been lots of fun. My husband or I had to research the life and times of LA and Hollywood. It was an amazing place back then full of intrigue and glamour.
I love these old- style mysteries, where the characters can’t rely on high tech to solve their problems…Thabks for steering me to an author (pair) I hadn’t seen before!!
Happy to do so DA!
We have always been a fan of noir and hardboiled mysteries such as Raymond Chandelier, Ross Mac Donald, Micky Spillane, Dashiell Hammett, etc. When we decided to write mysteries, hardboiled 1950s was the hands-down choice. Researching the “high tech” of the 1950s was something we had to dig deep to find.
