Synopsis: Detective John Stark approaches the PI team of Griff Cole and Britt Callahan with a postcard he’s sure is from his estranged daughter, Kira. Chalked up as a runaway three years ago by Portland, Maine police, John is not convinced that his daughter’s continued absence is by choice. As long-time friends of Stark’s, Cole and Callahan agree to look into the postcard marked only with the letters OK.
Tracing the St Bart postmark takes Griff and Britt to one of the northern most towns in Maine. The local sheriff tells them that Oracles of the Kingdom is an organic farm owned by Isaac Bennett where women sell fresh produce in return for a fresh start with God. But nothing seems right about the town or the farm. Going undercover is the opportunity Britt’s been waiting for. John and Griff agree to give her four days to get in, look for Kira and get out.
Inside the farm, Britt soon realizes that Oracles of the Kingdom is anything but a refuge and Isaac Bennett is more the devil’s right hand than God’s. In over her head and forced to pose as one of the girls in a prostitution ring to save her cover, Britt knows it’s time to get out. But when she loses her phone and Bennett moves the girls across the Canadian border, she’s on her own.
